Sohail Khan to earn Rs 10.34 cr in rent over 5 years from Bandra shop bought for Rs 3.11 cr
Sohail Khan has leased out a commercial property in Mumbai's Bandra for five years, securing a monthly rent of Rs 16.89 lakh from the agreement.

Bollywood actor and Salman Khan’s younger brother, Sohail Khan, has leased out a commercial property in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra area. According to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, the actor has rented out the property to The Irish House Food and Beverages Private Limited, earning a monthly rent of Rs 16.89 lakh from the deal.
The agreement was officially registered in March 2025. Located in Gasper Enclave, the property lies in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after neighbourhoods, home to several Bollywood celebrities, luxury boutiques, gourmet restaurants, and high-end residential developments. The lease agreement has been signed for a 60-month period and includes a structured rent escalation. For the first 36 months, the rent is Rs 16.89 lakh per month, increasing to Rs 17.73 lakh for the remaining 24 months. Over the five-year duration, Sohail Khan is expected to earn approximately Rs 10.34 crore from the rent of the shop.
As per the documents, the property was originally purchased by Sohail in April 2009 for Rs 3.11 crore. The shop has a built-up area of 119.88 sq. m. (approximately 1,290.57 sq. ft.). The transaction attracted a stamp duty of Rs 2.67 lakh and registration charges of Rs 1,000. The agreement also includes a security deposit of Rs 60 lakh.
On the professional front, Sohail Khan has been relatively absent from the big screen. He recently made an appearance in the Telugu film Arjun: Son of Vyjayanthi. His last Hindi film was 2017’s Tubelight, in which he starred alongside Salman Khan. He also runs his own production companym Sohail Khan Productions, which has backed several films including Radhe, Ready, Jai Ho, Partner, and more.
In an earlier interaction with PTI, Sohail admitted that he distanced himself from acting because he wasn’t offered meaningful roles. He said, “I was not getting good work as an actor and I don’t want to act just for the sake of it. I had a couple of films in the past but I realised I had a good production house to fall back on. I thought let me direct, let me produce.”
