Smriti Mandhana deletes wedding posts as marriage with Palash Muchhal postponed, sister Palak requests privacy

Palash, too, has retained his earlier posts with Smriti, but none of the posts from the wedding celebrations appear on his Instagram profile.

Palak Muchhal defends brother as trolls target him

Palash’s sister, Palak Muchhal, has come out in support of her brother and dismissed all rumours with a clear message. She wrote, “Due to Smriti’s father’s health, Smriti and Palash’s wedding has been put on hold. We request you all to respect the privacy of both families during this sensitive time.”

‘Palash, before Smriti, decided to not go ahead with the wedding’

After Shrinivas Mandhana’s hospitalisation, Palash was also taken to a hospital in Sangli. However, he was later discharged, after which he flew to Mumbai. Speaking about the same, his mother, Amita Muchhal, claimed that the music composer was taken aback by Shrinivas’ ill health as he was very close to him and “cried a lot” after hearing the news.

She said in Hindi, “He cried so much that his health suddenly deteriorated. They kept him in the hospital for four hours. He was given an IV drip, an ECG was done, and other tests were carried out. Everything came back normal, but he is under a lot of stress.”

She also claimed that it was Palash who took the decision to postpone the wedding. She said, “When he fell ill, it was Palash, before Smriti, who decided that they should not go ahead with the wedding rituals until he gets better.”
