Kiara Advani had a long debate with ‘too private’ Sidharth Malhotra about posting wedding video on social media: ‘He didn’t want us to post wedding stuff’

Kiara added that Sidharth has made her believe that she is “capable of so much more.” He tells her, “Don’t hold back. Just go and do what you want to do.”

The Shershaah co-stars, who never spoke about their relationship in public, took to social media to announce their wedding on February 7 this year. The couple shared photos from the wedding, and wrote, “Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai. We seek your blessings and love on our journey ahead ❤️🙏.” Later, they also shared a video from the wedding ceremony which took place at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh hotel.

However, Sidharth didn’t want to post some of these pictures on social media. While sharing how Sidharth always stops her from posting personal stuff on social media, Kiara revealed, “He didn’t want us to post some of the wedding stuff that we posted. That video that we posted, there was a lot of debate about it. Sid is a very private person. He is a bit too private.”

Kiara added that when their wedding filmer had put together their wedding video, both she and Siddharth felt, “This is giving out too much. We should keep it personal and private.” However, fashion designer Manish Malhotra pestered them to post it.

“Manish was like,’ You have to post it’ and we were like, ‘No no it’s too much’. He said, ‘It’s just so much love. Everybody is waiting to see something. It’s like inviting people into that side that we couldn’t have everyone come to,'” Kiara shared.

Kiara and Sidharth had posted a video in which Kiara entered the wedding venue and walked towards Sidharth, while a reprised version of the Shershaah song ‘Ranjha’ played in the background.
