Nearly three decades have passed since Abbas-Mustan gifted Indian cinema with the iconic Baazigar, featuring Shah Rukh Khan in the role of an anti-hero, a performance that propelled him to instant stardom. Besides achieving both critical acclaim and commercial success upon its release, Baazigar has also earned a revered status as one of the most influential Bollywood thrillers of all time. As the film turns 30, it's also a momentous occasion for Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who made her debut in Baazigar and now commemorates three decades in the industry. In a recent interview with ETimes, Shilpa reflected on her career and shared that while she may not have been included in the list of top 10 actors, she is content with the path her journey has taken. She noted that there's a sense of poetic justice in life, pointing out that despite receiving love and admiration, she never made it to the list of top 10 actors, possibly due to a lack of opportunities. Despite this, the Baazigar actor said, she's currently working on a mammoth web series, Rohit Shetty's Indian Police Force. Emphasising that she has no complaints, Shilpa mentioned that she has already wrapped up filming for a movie and is also working on a multilingual film in tandem. She added, "I have carved a niche on TV, my brands are doing well." Shilpa Shetty on rumours about husband Raj Kundra's biopic Amidst speculations about her husband Raj Kundra making a movie about his life and his period in jail, Shilpa declined to offer any comments on the matter. Kundra was arrested in 2021 for being the alleged “key conspirator” in a case of making pornographic films and publishing them through mobile applications. When ETimes enquired about the rumours suggesting that Kundra might bankroll and star in the film, Shilpa responded, "I don't have a role in commenting on that." She is currently working on the Kannada film KD - The Devil, directed by Prem, where Shilpa shares the screen with Dhruva Sarja, Reeshma Nanaiah, Sanjay Dutt, and V Ravichandran.
