Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 59th birthdays with his fans. (Photo: SRK Universe/X)Superstar Shah Rukh Khan skipped his annual ritual of waving to his countless fans gathered outside Mannat to celebrate his birthday but continued another recent tradition: of greeting a select gathering at a special indoors event. Shah Rukh, who turned 59 on Saturday, had a rather muted public celebration as he didn’t come out in his Mannat balcony to blow kisses to his fans, who had assembled since midnight to mark the special day.
Shah Rukh, however, had a special appearance planned for “SRK Day”– an event organised by his fan clubs for his birthday in Bandra. This is the second year in a row when the actor was part of a special fan-curated event like this.
Shah Rukh arrived at the event around 6.30 PM amid heavy police security and at least four police vans guiding his car. The star then went on stage at the Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir hall, where his fans sang “Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jana Sanam” for him. The actor greeted his fans and later held a live #AskSRK session.
And the King Khan has arrived! 🔥🔥 The superstar is on stage, ready to light it up!

During the event, the actor was asked a host of questions, including battling self-doubts, how he feels now that his children, Aryan and Suhana Khan, have entered the films. Suhana made her acting debut with The Archies on Netflix, while Aryan Khan is gearing for his directorial debut with an OTT series, set to release next year.
At the event, Shah Rukh shared that he woke up late but as soon as he was up, he learnt that his son AbRam was in crisis as his iPad had stopped working. He shared that after fixing AbRam’s problem, he found that Suhana was facing a wardrobe crisis and he proceeded to help her. He joked and said, “I learn from my family that your patience is directly proportional to the numbers of kids you have.” On a serious note, he added, “This is the learning that I carry from my home to my work. I try and fix the problems that people are facing, at my shoot, at work. I think patience is the one thing I have learnt from my family.”
See how Shah Rukh Khan answers fans’ questions with his playful wit 😂—and even shares a cute moment about AbRam!
