Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra’s fans trend ‘We want Don 3’ on Twitter; is Farhan Akhtar watching?

It's now been more than 10 hours that the tag 'We Want Don 3' is trending on Twitter.

It was because of this movie that the pair of SRK – Priyanka became an instant hit among the masses and the duo was even linked up with each other.

“How can I do Don without Don? SRK is Don and Don is SRK,” Ritesh Sidhwani was quoted saying, recently, when asked about the possibility of the third edition to the ‘Don’ series. Doubts and mystery have clouded over the sequel to ‘Don 2’ ever since.

There were also reports that Priyanka Chopra might not continue to reprise Roma in the next editions. But no confirmations came ever since the speculations were made.

This has made the SRK – Priyanka fans take to Twitter and be heard by the producer Ritesh and director Farhan Akhtar. It’s now been more than 10 hours that the tag ‘We Want Don 3’ is trending on Twitter. The twitterati have made sure that they tag Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani in their tweets, so that they notice it.

‘Don 2’ is a 2011 movie starring Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor, a sequel to the 2006 ‘Don’ having almost the starcast. The movie was praised for its action, direction and cinematography and went on to do fairly well at the Box Office.

It was because of this movie that the pair of SRK – Priyanka became an instant hit among the masses and the duo was even linked up with each other.

Also, SRK tweeted rubbishing off all rumours regarding the ‘Don’ sequel. He had tweeted, “Don3 is supposedly on!? Issues being discussed on Twitter I hav no clue about. Casting of Raees done! Why isn’t anyone informing me Ha ha!!!”

The news of casting of ‘Raees’, however, came soonafter with Pakistani actress Mahira Khan being finalised to play SRK’s wife in the movie. It remains to be seen whether the efforts of the fans will come to fruition and the denial of ‘Don’ sequel be negated soon.
