(Photo: Pooja Dadlani/Instagram)Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai mansion Mannat is undergoing renovation at the moment and until the said renovation finishes, Shah Rukh has moved into Puja Casa, a building owned by film producer Vashu Bhagnani. Rakul Preet Singh, who is married to Vashu’s son Jackky, recently spoke about having SRK as her neighbour. Rakul also lives in a building named Puja Casa, and her building is quite close to the one SRK is residing in. She shared that when she heard that SRK was moving into a building owned by their family, she offered her assistance.
“I am such a Shah Rukh sir fan that I told Jackky ki jab bhi kuch bhi karana ho ghar pe, unko kisi se baat karni ho, send me, I want to be there,” she told Siddharth Kannan with a laugh. She added that when SRK moved into the building, she was shooting for a film and was quite “upset” that Jackky went to welcome the star by himself. “I was shooting De De Pyaar De 2 when he shifted, so I got very upset that Jackky went there by himself,” she said.
Rakul further shared with a laugh, “I told Jackky that in case a bulb is not working, or there is an electricity issue, send me, I will get an opportunity to meet him.” She added that she later got to meet the star over dinner and found him extremely “welcoming.”
SRK moved out of Mannat earlier this year and shifted to a four-floor apartment at Puja Casa. The star will be staying here for the next couple of years and is said to be paying a rent of over Rs 25 lakh. The property SRK is currently residing at is estimated to be worth Rs 8.5 crore. Like every year, SRK’s fans waited for many hours to catch a glimpse of the star at Mannat on his birthday; however, he had to cancel the appearance because of security concerns.
Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s King, which releases in 2026.
