Shah Rukh Khan calls daughter Suhana Khan’s film The Archies ‘innocent and pristine’, sends wishes to the cast

Proud father Shah Rukh posted the trailer, and wrote in the caption, “A contemporary subject with timeless characters #TheArchies… thrown into a world that is very fable like. Zoya has created such an innocent and pristine quality to the film….maybe just like our world could be with a more responsible outlook towards the environment. All the best to the entire team involved with this sweet and meaningful fun film!”

Shah Rukh Khan has been cheering for Suhana from the time the film’s announcement was made. Suhana will be playing the role of Veronica in the movie, which is the Hindi adaptation of the popular Archies comic.

When the film’s poster was released, Shah Rukh had written a virtual letter for his daughter, teaching her to always be herself as she begins the journey.

He wrote, “And remember @suhanakhan2 you are never going to be perfect….but being yourself is the closest to that. Be kind and giving as an actor….the brickbats and applause is not yours to keep….the part of you that gets left behind on screen will always belong to you….u have come a long way baby….but the road to peoples heart is unending…..stride forth and make as many smile as you can. Coming to his own films, after enjoying the success of Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh is gearing up for his third release of the year with Dunki. The film’s first teaser was released on the actor’s birthday.

Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles and will release in December.
