Salman Khan is the most honest co-actor, says ‘Kick’ star Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has teamed up with Salman Khan in the upcoming 'Kick', says he plays a very thrilling role in the masala entertainer.

Nawazuddin says film's director-producer Sajid Nadiadwala wrote the part keeping him in mind. "Sajid told me that when the character was being written in the movie, he already had me in mind. Finally, when it was ready, he gave me a narration and I liked the role. It was a good opportunity," Nawaz told PTI in an interview. The 40-year-old actor, who has deftly portrayed common man roles in films like ‘Peepli Live’, ‘Lunchbox’ and ‘Liar’s Dice’, says people will find his character interesting.

“This is completely different from what I have done before. I have mostly played the lower middle class person but not here. My character is grey and quite thrilling. People will enjoy it,” Nawaz says.

When asked how it was to work with Salman, Nawazuddin says it was great to work with the superstar.     “It was great. Salman made the working environment very light and easy because he is easy-going in real life. He is the most honest co-actor I had known,” he says.

Slated for an Eid release on July 25, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Randeep Hooda.
