On Monday, several Hindi cinema celebrities were seen casting their votes for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections at their respective polling centres in Mumbai. While Ranveer Singh was accompanied by his pregnant wife Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan arrived with his family at the voting centre. Another video showed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan interacting with other voters in the queue, while Ranbir Kapoor paid his respects to the veteran actor Prem Chopra. But one moment that grabbed a lot of attention on social media was of Salman Khan interacting with several wheelchair-bound voters.

Salman’s gestures invited lots of praise on social media. One fan wrote, “He is a man with a golden heart,” while another fan called him a ‘cool guy’. Others dropped heart emojis, while a third fan called Salman ‘sweet’.

Salman arrived at the polling booth with heavy security. In April, several gunshots were fired outside his house in Bandra, Mumbai. Following this, his security has been beefed up. On the professional front, Salman Khan was reported to host the Bigg Boss OTT 3 but due to date issues, the actor might have to give this season a miss. He will next star in the film Sikandar, which will be directed by AR Murugadoss and presented by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is slated to release on Eid 2025.
