Following his praise for Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Oh My God 2, Sadhguru has now responded to the movie's 'A' certificate from the censor board. Akshay had organised a special screening of OMG 2 for Sadhguru and other members of the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore. OMG 2 has become Akshay Kumar's first film in 12 years to get the 'A – Adults Only' certification. In a recent tweet, Sadhguru shared his perspective on the matter. He stated, "'A’ Certificate in this case should include Adolescents. That’s where it matters most. Education about understanding human biology and responding to the biological needs of an individual in a dignified and responsible way is very needed to build a Nation that is Fair & Just to all involved. -Sg #OMG2." Akshay Kumar acknowledged Sadhguru's viewpoint and replied, "Thank you so much @SadhguruJV. Hope the message reaches far and wide, in the right spirit." Among the primary concerns surrounding Oh My God 2 was Akshay Kumar's depiction of Lord Shiva. However, the film's trailer, unveiled a week ago, clarified that Akshay's character is not portraying Lord Shiva but rather a divine messenger. After witnessing the film, Sadhguru had expressed his admiration for the Akshay Kumar starrer and shared on Twitter, "Namaskaram @akshaykumar. Wonderful having you here at the Isha Yoga Center & learning about ‘Oh My God -2’. Educating young people on how to handle their bodily needs is most essential if we want to cultivate a society that is sensitive to the safety & dignity of its women. It is time our education system focuses on equipping our youth to handle their body, mind & emotions rather than being purely information oriented. -Sg #OMG2."
