Riteish Deshmukh wows PV Sindhu with his badminton skills: ‘You were amazing’

Riteish Deshmukh not only got to share the stage with Badminton champion PV Sindhu but they also played the racket-and-shuttle game at Hindustan Times India’s Most Stylish Awards 2023. Riteish hosted the event along with his wife, actor Genelia D’Souza.

Riteish and Sindhu played badminton on the stage of the awards show even as the iconic Bollywood song, “Dhal Gaya Din Ho Gayi Sham”, featuring Jeetendra and Leena Chandavarkar, played in the background.

Riteish Deshmukh aced the game and impressed all. PV Sindhu later took to her Instagram story to share a video of herself and Riteish playing badminton and wrote tagging the actor, “You were amazing.” In his reply, Riteish wrote, “Dear @pvsindhu1 you are too kind & extremely gracious- very proud of all your achievements- till we play again…”

Riteish also shared the video on his Instagram handle and wrote, “About last night… it’s was an absolute pleasure to play badminton with the amazingly stylish World Champion and India’s Pride @pvsindhu1 – at #htstyleawards2023 & had to play it on the iconic Jeetu ji song…”

Gauahar Khan commented on the video, “Skills 🙌, while Manish Malhotra wrote, “You were fab❤️🙌.” Fans too are going gaga over the actor’s badminton skills as one wrote, “U r talented @riteishd ❤️,” while another commented, “Best Best Best! 😂❤️🔥.”

On the work front, Riteish Deshmukh was last seen in Marathi film Ved, alongside his wife Genelia D’Souza.
