It will be ‘AK vs RK’ as Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor are set to collaborate for a project. On Tuesday, Ranbir’s wife and actor Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to announce the same. She declared that her favourite actors, Aamir and Ranbir, will be pitted against each other.
In the clip, Alia is seen holding a poster as she says, “I have to show this to you guys. Two of my favourite actors will be seen together or against each other. Wait I forgot to show you the poster.” She then turned the poster that shows both Aamir and Ranbir. The tagline of the poster read, ‘The greatest rivalry of the year.’ Interestingly, filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, who is helming Ranbir’s coveted film Ramayana, is directing this project.
In the caption of the post, Alia Bhatt revealed that Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan will feature in an advertisement. She wrote, “A battle of the best! Two of my favourite actors w̶i̶t̶h̶ against each other⚔️🫶🏻 Stay tuned for something very very exciting…more deets coming tomorrow😬😬 P.S. I know you’re going to love it as much as I did!! #AKvsRK #ad jurishmitamazumdar’s profile picture.”
This isn’t the first time Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan will be seen together. Earlier, Ranbir had a guest appearance in Aamir’s widely successful film PK. On the professional front, Ranbir will next be seen with Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, which will also stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead. Aamir, on the other hand, has Sitaare Zameen Par in the pipeline.
