Raj Kundra pens note about next phase of his journey: ‘It’s time to separate now’

Businessman-turned-actor Raj Kundra took to his social media handle and penned a cryptic message about separation. However, Kundra later revealed that he had separated with his masks.

The actor wrote, “Farewell Masks …it’s time to separate now! Thank you for keeping me protected over the last two years. Onto the next phase of my journey.”

Kundra’s earlier post read, “We have separated and kindly request you to give us time during this difficult period.”

At a press meet on Wednesday, Raj Kundra revealed his face for the first time in months. For the unversed, Kundra was imprisoned in November 2022 in connection with a pornography case and he had been consistently wearing masks in public since then. The businessman and filmmaker Farah Khan are collaborating for the film titled UT69. The movie, which marks Kundra’s debut, is reportedly about his life behind bars.

Netizens are baffled after reading Kundra’s recent posts. One of them wrote, “It just seems to be a publicity gimmick for the film.” Another commented, “Come on. Lame gimmick.”

Talking about his upcoming film UT69, Raj Kundra had said, “The film is about my 63 days in the jail, from the day I entered that red gate to the day I came out. If Shilpa and I believed that if there was even an ounce of truth in the allegations and if I was guilty then I would have my head hanging in shame. But I came out like a lion because I knew I had done no wrong.” He added, “It was painful for my family. Why drag my wife, kids, and my family? Point your fingers at me but not my family.”
