Pushpa 2 box office collection day 49: Allu Arjun starrer stands strong despite new releases, crosses Rs 1230 crore mark

Pushpa 2 box office collection day 49: Pushpa 2 is just 10 days away from completing its two months run in theatres. Having released on December 5, the film is still successfully running across the country with about 1000 shows. Despite the release of new movies like Baby John, Game Changer, Azaad, and Emergency, Pushpa 2 is going strong in theatres.

On its 7th Sunday, Pushpa 2: The Rule recorded an earning of Rs 1.5 crore. The film earned Rs 65 lakh on its seventh Monday and Tuesday, respectively and on Wednesday, the movie collected Rs 50 lakh. Pushpa 2’s grand total stands at Rs 1230.05 crore India net, according to estimates by Sacnilk.

The film, which is a massive hit in the Hindi belt, witnessed an occupancy of 9.22 percent on Wednesday with about 131 shows in Mumbai and 217 shows in Delhi.

Films that released after Pushpa 2 like Game Changer and Baby John didn’t have any impact on the Allu Arjun starrer. The movie, also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in important roles, had earned Rs 1831 crore worldwide in 32 days, according to the last figures shared by the makers.

Pushpa: The Rule is the sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. The film will have a third installment, according to the makers.
