Preity Zinta shares her family is ‘safe as of now’ amid LA wildfires: ‘I never thought I would live to see a day where…’

The actor added, “I’m heartbroken at the devastation around us & grateful to god 🙏that we are safe as of now. My thoughts & prayers to people that are displaced & have lost everything in these fires. Hope the wind dies down soon & the fires are contained. A big thank you 🙏 to the fire department, fire fighters & everyone else helping to save lives & property. Stay safe everyone ❤️.”

Preity Zinta’s fans have been reacting in the comments section of her post. “Take care of urself pretty Preity…Iam ur fan…our thoughts are with our desi ladies like you & PC, who made a home there…stay safe,” wrote a fan. Another comment read, “I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. It’s heartbreaking to see such devastation, but I’m glad you’re safe for now. Sending strength to you, your loved ones, and everyone affected Stay safe.🙏🙏🙏.”

Earlier, Nora Fatehi, who was also in LA, shared a video on her Instagram story and wrote, “I’ve never seen anything like this. This is insane. We just got an evacuation order like five minutes ago. So, I quickly packed all my stuff and I’m evacuating out of here, out of this area. I’m going to go near the airport and stay there, because I have a flight today and I really hope I can catch it. I hope it doesn’t get cancelled because this s**t is scary. I have never experienced this before.”

Priyanka Chopra Jonas also lives in LA with her singer husband Nick Jonas, and daughter Malti Marie. She shared a series of photos and videos after the LA fire broke out. “My thoughts are with everyone. I hope we are all able to be safe tonight,” wrote Priyanka.

The California wildfires have wreaked havoc, affecting thousands, including several Hollywood celebrities. Many homes have been reduced to ashes, while others have been evacuated at the last minute.
