Bollywood celebrities assembled in Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir. As pictures of their arrival went viral, additional videos and photos from the ceremony have flooded social media. In a recent video, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seen extending greetings to Amitabh Bachchan and his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, seated in the front row, following the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
In the footage, the Prime Minister is seen greeting Big B with folded hands, and the superstar along with Abhishek Bachchan reciprocated with the same gesture. During the interaction, the Prime Minister appeared to inquire about Big B’s hand, possibly implying to an injury. Watch the video:
Besides Amitabh Bachchan, other Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayushman Khurrana, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Madhuri Dixit, along with her husband Shriram Madhav Nene, Rohit Shetty, Rajkumar Hirani, and others graced the auspicious occasion. The Bollywood stars were spotted capturing an iconic selfie at the event.
In another video, Ranbir, Alia, and Rohit Shetty were momentarily denied entry to the temple as they approached the wrong gate. The celebrities gracefully acknowledged their mistake and proceeded to the correct gate for entry.
Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, a video emerged from the inauguration ceremony, featuring actor and BJP MP Hema Malini dancing with Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti on the premises of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Hema Malini expressed her gratitude, stating, ‘we are fortunate to have witnessed such a ceremony.’
With over 7,000 invitees, including politicians, Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, industrialists, and others, the temple trust, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, organised the grand event. The festivities commenced on January 16 and culminated with the installation of the Ram Lalla idol in the expansive temple spread over 70 acres.
