The music composer was spotted at the Mumbai airport with his mother, Amita, and a video of the sighting has since surfaced online. In the clip, Palash is seen walking out of the airport dressed in an all-black outfit. Though he did not object to the paparazzi filming him, he chose not to engage with them and maintained a calm silence throughout. His mother, Amita, appeared more at ease, smiling warmly when a person at the airport exit greeted her by touching her feet.

This marks Palash’s first public outing following the unexpected delay in his wedding celebrations and his own health scare. The couple was scheduled to tie the knot on November 23, but festivities were halted when Smriti’s father suffered a medical emergency and had to be rushed to the hospital. Shortly after, Palash reportedly began feeling unwell and was taken to a Mumbai hospital. He had earlier received first-aid treatment at a hospital in Sangli, where he initially complained of discomfort.
A doctor later told MidDay that Palash’s condition appeared to be “linked to stress-related distress rather than a serious cardiac event,” putting concerns about his health to rest. Speculation began
Just weeks earlier, Palash had proposed to Smriti in a dreamy setup at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, the same place where the Indian women’s team lifted the 2025 World Cup trophy. The romantic gesture, following their five-year relationship, went viral instantly. The couple had then begun their wedding festivities in Sangli before everything came to an abrupt halt due to the health crisis.
Following the incident, all wedding-related photos and videos were deleted by the couple and even from Team India’s official social media handles, fueling speculation that the wedding had been called off. However, neither Palash nor Smriti has issued any statement addressing the rumours.
