Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone steps out for dinner date with family while Ranveer Singh parties on Ambani cruise. See photos

The couple announced their pregnancy on February 29, just before they headed to Jamnagar to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s first pre-wedding bash. Videos of Ranveer and Deepika performing at the couple’s sangeet night were widely shared online. The party was attended by around 1200 guests, which included personalities from the world of entertainment, politics and business.

Ranveer and Deepika’s baby is due in September.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone who was last seen in Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan. She will next be seen in Nag Ashwin’s magnum opus film Kalki 2898 AD, which also features Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in lead roles. The movie, which was earlier scheduled to release in May, was pushed to June due to the ongoing General Elections in India. Now, the film will release in theatres on June 27.

Deepika will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s action film Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. Meanwhile, Ranveer was said to be headlining Don 3, but there have been no updates after the makers confirmed the news last year. Ranveer was last seen in the film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, starring Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi, among others. There were also reports of him collaborating with HanuMan director Prasanth Varma for a film titled Rakshas. However, that film has also been shelved. The makers recently confirmed the news by issuing a statement that read, “In a mutual understanding, the team decided to part ways with a possible collaboration in future.”

Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in December 2018. They are due to welcome their first child later this year.
