A day after Arjun Kapoor declared that he is “single”, ending months of speculation about his relationship status with Malaika Arora, she shared a cryptic post on Instagram. On her Stories, she posted a note that read, “Touching a heart for second can touch a soul for lifetime.”
Arjun and Malaika have parted ways after six years together, during which they often fielded questions about a possible marriage. During a promotional event for his new film Singham Again, Arjun revealed that he is now single. He told the paparazzi, “Abhi single hoon main, relax.”

Malaika-Arjun relationship
Arjun and Malaika started dating each other in 2018, after Malaika divorced Arbaaz Khan in 2017. They made their relationship Instagram-official in 2019. Neither of them shied away from speaking about their relationship, with Arjun often being asked about whether they were planning on tying the knot. Rumours of their spilt had been doing the rounds for a while, especially after they deleted their pictures together from social media. But, Arjun stood strong by Malaika’s side after her father Anil Mehta’s demise in September.
On the professional front, Arjun Kapoor’s Singham Again hit theatres today. He plays the villain in the star-studded film, featuring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and others. Malaika recently made her first public appearance after her father’s passing, at an event hosted by a jewellery brand.
