Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra announce pregnancy: ‘The greatest gift of our lives’

Along with the announcement, Bollywood actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra shared a picture of baby socks in their palms.

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra took to social media on Friday to announce their pregnancy. The couple shared a picture of baby socks in their palms and wrote in the caption, “The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon ”

Celebrities and colleagues of the couple flooded the comments section of the post with congratulatory messages. While Shilpa Shetty commented, “Awwwwww congratulations are in order,” Rakul Preet Singh wrote, “Omggggggg congratulations guys. so so happpy.” Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor shared, “Raaaataaan will truly be lambiyaaan sleepless nights r here.”

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra got married in February 2023 in Rajasthan after dating each other for a few years. The couple first met at a party after Kiara wrapped up shooting for Lust Stories.

During an appearance on Koffee with Karan, Kiara revealed that Sidharth proposed to her at a Michelin star restaurant in Rome. “He planned the works. He had done this candlelight dinner. We go back after dinner, and he takes me up for a walk. We go up and suddenly the violinist comes out of the bushes playing and sweetly his little nephew is taking our video from behind the bushes. He then goes on one knee and proposes. I was not expecting it that night so I was so overwhelmed, I didn’t say anything,” she said.

The actor continued, “After his whole speech, he doesn’t know what to say to me and he starts saying the lines of Shershaah. He’s like ‘Dilli ka seedha sada launda hun’, and what he said to me in the movie, the full dialogue of Shershaah. Then I burst out laughing.”

Kiara Advani said that since Sidharth Malhotra’s family was accompanying them, they got a chance to celebrate with them and they saw it as the “best part.” Soon after this, they called Kiara’s parents and Karan Johar.

Kiara and Sidharth chose to walk down the aisle on a song from Shershah.
