Kajol ‘shuts up’ Kareena Kapoor as she calls her ‘worst’ driver of the 90s: ‘You have road rage in you’

Bollywood actor Kajol was the ‘worst’ driver in the 90s, as per her Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham co-actor Kareena Kapoor Khan. During a latest chat, the two actors got into a funny argument where Kareena accused Kajol of having “road rage” in her, whereas Kajol disagreed.

As Kajol and Kareena sat down with their colleagues from the industry, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sidharth Malhotra, Sanya Malhotra, Amruta Subhash and Tilotama Shome, for a roundtable discussion about their respective performances in various projects on Netflix this year, Kajol asked Sidharth if he ever felt like killing people on the road or did he get road rage in him after playing a serial killer in his 2014 film Ek Villain. Soon, she also expressed her wish to play a dark character on-screen, that too unapologetically.

She said, “I want to play a serial killer. I want to play something that is unapologetically black, without any excuses. I would love to play Hannibal, but I don’t know whether I will be able to manage it or not. Making something so unacceptable acceptable, I would love to do that. I think I can sell it. I will have the most fun. I will be eating chicken liver and pretending it’s human liver…”

As Kajol was sharing her wish, Kareena interrupted and teased her, “Because you do have road rage Kajol, I do know, you have road rage. In the 90s, she was the worst driver in history.” Kajol told her to “shut up” as she assumed she is the “only one who drives a car”.

Kajol added, “Out of everybody on this table, I am probably the only one who drives also, so let’s leave it at that.” She also asked Kareena if she had ever sat with her in a car, to which the Jaane Jaan actor replied, “I have heard many stories. I have seen you enter studios.”

Kajol once again shut Kareena and concluded, “Anybody who has not walked a mile in my shoes, has no right to comment.”

However, in a 2011 interview with The Times of India, Kajol said, “I have a lot of road rage. Mostly with the rickshaw and cab drivers trying to cut me, it’s the traffic, Grrrr!”

Meanwhile, Kajol was last seen in the Netflix anthology series, Lust Stories 2.
