Kajol, Jaya Bachchan give major Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham 2 vibes at Durga Puja pandal: ‘I’m coming to raid your closet’. Watch
Mirroring the love Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham's Nandini and Anjali had for each other, Jaya Bachchan and Kajol also showered each other with affection.

What will Nandini Raichand (Jaya Bachchan) and Anjali Sharma (Kajol) from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham look like now, almost two and a half decades later? What will their current rapport be like? A video has now surfaced online that addresses our doubts, as it appears to be a scene from a potential sequel to the blockbuster family drama, if director Karan Johar had ever made one. In the viral clip, Jaya and Kajol can be seen sharing a heartwarming moment as they catch up at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal of the Mukerji family on the occasion of Maha Saptami.
Mirroring the love Nandini and Anjali had for each other, the two acting icons showered each other with affection. In the video, Kajol is seen hyping up Jaya’s appearance, telling her she’s “looking so good.” “Main aa rahi hoon aapki closet raid karne ke liye (I’m coming to raid your closet),” Kajol is heard quipping, cracking up Jaya as well. The clip ends with the two of them sharing a warm hug. While Kajol sported a yellow-beige-pink saree, Jaya opted for a golden-beige saree.
Regarded as one of the greatest actors in Bollywood, Jaya Bachchan isn’t very active in cinema these days due to her commitments as a politician. She currently serves as an MP in the Rajya Sabha from the Samajwadi Party (SP). She was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Kajol, on the other hand, has had two releases this year — Maa and Sarzameen. She will next be seen in Maharagni: Queen of Queens.

On Sunday, the members of the Mukerji family, including Kajol and Rani Mukerji, had come together for the unveiling of the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal. They were joined by Kajol’s sister Tanishaa Mukerji and their cousin, director Ayan Mukerji. During the occasion, Kajol and Rani shared emotional moments with Ayan, reminiscing about his father, Deb Mukherjee, who passed away in March this year. The Durga Puja celebrations, also known as Durgotsava or Sharodotsava, began on September 28 (Shashthi) and conclude on October 2 (Vijayadashami) this year.
