The first episode of the highly anticipated talk show Two Much is finally out, and hosts Kajol and Twinkle Khanna have got quite the head start on this journey. The guests on the very first episode were actors Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, and the old friends seemed to have a blast during their visit. All actors took several trips down memory lane, recalling some happy memories and some slightly bitter.

Twinkle kicked off the conversation by asking the two whether they remembered where they first met. Aamir didn’t, but Salman did, and the latter quickly recalled meeting a young Twinkle while she was still a student. Twinkle added to the story and said, “I clearly remember that I saw him sitting with Sangeeta (Bijlani), and I was on a cycle myself. I kept looking at them while riding the cycle and rode it into a ditch.” She then turned to Aamir and told him that they met in a studio for the first time, and she was very excited to meet him.

Kajol too recalled meeting Salman for the first time and admitted that she was just 12 years old at the time and called him “Salman uncle”. Salman laughed it off and revealed that he had a special bond with Kajol’s father, Shomu Mukherjee. He said, “I was so close to her father, and we had a great relationship. He used to come over to my house at least twice a week. The last time he came over was just two days before he passed away. He came inside, sat down and said, ‘Ek drink bana de (make me a drink.)’ I said, ‘Arey Shomu da nahi (Please don’t). Then he said, ‘Koi baat nahi, ek do din mai jaa raha hoon. Tu ek drink bana de bas. (It doesn’t matter because I am leaving in a few days).’ I made him a drink, and within two days he was gone. He added that even his father, Salim Khan, was very close to Shomu and that he had great respect for the producer. “The Mukherjees are one of the best families,” concluded Salman.

Shomu Mukherjee passed away in 2008 due to a cardiac arrest. Kajol has talked about the loving relationship she shared with her father on several occasions, including how he wanted to name her Mercedes but mother Tanuja didn’t let it happen.
