Makers of Jolly LLB 3 have revealed the teaser release date of the film

Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla’s most-awaited film Jolly LLB 3 is set to release this year. In a video released on Thursday, the makers shared an update about the film’s teaser. The clip features the iconic Judge Tripathi, played by Saurabh Shukla, reintroducing Jagdish Tyagi and Jagdish Mishra, while comically venting about the chaos they’ve caused in his courtroom. Jolly LLB 3 is the third installment in the popular franchise, following Jolly LLB and Jolly LLB 2.

The video announces that the teaser of Jolly LLB 3 will be released on August 12. It features Sundarlal Tripathi, played by Saurabh Shukla, seated at his courtroom desk, humorously ranting about the two Jollys, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, in his signature witty style. Staying true to his character’s trademark tone, he laments being caught between the two and playfully asks viewers not to judge him.

Saurabh Shukla’s character, Sundarlal Tripathi, reflects on Jolly 1, Jagdish Tyagi, as a hot-headed man with limited command of the English language. He then describes Jolly 2, Jagdish Mishra, as sweet, but humorously adds that he once gave his wife a heart attack. After reintroducing both characters, the judge firmly declares that he won’t tolerate their chaos in Jolly LLB 3.

In an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar opened up about Jolly LLB 3 and said, “Me and Arshad Warsi coming together. So Jolly 1 and Jolly 2 coming together. I can’t tell you at the moment about the plot or what Jolly LLB 3 is about. Jolly 1 was about a hit-and-run case and part 2 was a murder that happened so there are real incidents in part 1 and part 2 and so part 3 also has some real incidents.”

Jolly LLB 3 is written and directed by Subhash Kapoor and produced by Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare. It is one of the most popular courtroom franchises in Bollywood. After the teaser release on August 12, the film will hit the big screen on September 19, 2025.

The first film revolved around a hit-and-run case, with Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani in lead roles. Jolly LLB 2 tackled a fake encounter case, headlined by Akshay Kumar and Annu Kapoor. Both installments were commercial successes. Now, Jolly LLB 3 is reportedly set to focus on the issues faced by farmers in India.
