Actor Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who is known for playing Roshan Daruwala Kaur Sodhi in the television show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has revealed that she called co-star Shailesh Lodha multiple times after he quit the show.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Jennifer said, “When Shailesh left, I called him and I messaged him saying ‘Come back, nobody can take your place on the show.’ He said, ‘No Jennie, it is about self-respect.’” Talking about her bond with co-stars, Jennifer said, “The initial days were good and we had our ladies gang. We had a lot of fun. We used to always eat together and have fun together. Overall, the bonding was very good with everyone.”
The actor added, “Whoever has left the show, we don’t know the real reason behind their decision. Everybody had different reasons.”
According to latest reports, Shailesh Lodha has taken legal action against the makers of the show for unpaid dues.
