Jeetendra flirts with Ayushmann Khurrana’s Pooja ahead of Dream Girl 2’s release. Watch funny video

For Pooja, age is truly just a number. The latest promo of actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film Dream Girl 2 takes things a notch higher as it features veteran actor Jeetendra.

The promo, which announces the film’s advance bookings, was posted by Jeetendra’s producer daughter Ekta Kapoor, who has backed Dream Girl 2. The film is a sequel to Ayushmann Khurrana’s hit 2019 movie Dream Girl, where his character earned money by talking to men on phone in a woman’s voice. In the latest installment, Ayushmaan will be seen raising the stakes as he cross dresses as a woman.

The video features Jeetendra, who calls Ayushmann’s Pooja. “Paya lagu uncle,” the actor tells Jeetedra, who quickly corrects Pooja and says, “Uncle nahi! Call me Jeetu, you can call me Jeets also,” Jeetendra says blushing.

“Aapka naam lene mein darr lagta hai,” Pooja says, which gives the veteran actor the opening to crack the joke, “Darr ke aage jeet hai, aur jeet ke aagey Jeetendra.” Ekta shared the video on Instagram and wrote, “Pooja ka mahurat toh 25 ka hai, lekin bookings toh ab bhi ho sakti haina! 😉❤️.”

Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl 2 also stars Ananya Panday, Asrani, Paresh Rawal, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajpal Yadav, Manjot Singh and Vijay Raaz. The film will release on August 25 and will be the first theatrical release of Ayushmann Khurrana this year.

Dream Girl 2 is likely to face competition at the box office from Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, which continues to record historic numbers at the box office. Dream Girl 2 will hope to enjoy a healthy run till Shah Rukh Khan’s mighty actioner Jawan releases on September 7.
