Jawan has already beaten Pathaan to become the biggest Hindi-language film of all time, in addition to becoming the biggest film Shah Rukh Khan’s career, and the second Hindi movie of the year to pass the $100 million mark at global box office, where it still trails Pathaan by around Rs 40 crore. It delivered the biggest opening day, opening weekend, and opening week totals in Hindi cinema history, and also crossed the Rs 100 crore, Rs 200 crore, Rs 300 crore, Rs 400 crore and Rs 500 crore marks in record time. It is the third-biggest Hindi movie, behind Dangal and Pathaan.
Jawan and Pathaan have collectively grossed over Rs 2000 crore worldwide this year, contributing significantly to Bollywood’s return to box office form after a couple of uncertain years.
