Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao have been on a promotional tour for their upcoming film Mr & Mrs Mahi. Their latest stop brought them to Chennai. The duo was spotted at the IPL 2024 final between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. And now, many other photos from her visit to Chennai are making the rounds of social media.
During her stay, Janhvi visited the renowned Muppathamman Temple along with her aunt, Maheshwari, a well-known actress in the Tamil film industry. Janhvi shared pictures from the temple and wrote, “Visited Muppathamman temple for the first time mummas most favourite place to visit in Chennai.” The images also captured her bond with her aunt, who has acted in films like Karuthamma, Ullasam, Nesam, and Suyamvaram.

Janhvi Kapoor’s trip to Chennai wasn’t all work and no play. She also took the opportunity to get a taste of the local cuisine. The actor was spotted dining at one of the city’s popular restaurants, Murugan Idli Kadai. Here are the pictures from her visit:

Mr & Mrs Mahi, directed by Sharan Sharma, is a film that delves into the world of cricket, with Janhvi and Rajkummar portraying the lead roles. The movie is touted to be an inspiring narrative that showcases the journey of two aspiring cricketers, who are brought together by arranged marriage. Janhvi’s role in the film marks a significant departure from her previous work. She underwent 150 days of intense cricket training for the role and even sustained injuries during her practice.
