Imran Khan has been teasing his fans with a comeback and in a series of Instagram stories, the actor recently revealed why he has been revisiting his older films. The Delhi Belly actor said that he is “reshaping my relationship” with his older films as he focussed only on criticism but never paid attention to the love of the fans that could have helped him at the time.

After posting a series of throwback photos from his films Break Ke Baad, Imran shared a story where he wrote, “If you’re wondering why I’m looking at the past so much… it’s because I’m reshaping my relationship with my films. To be clear, I’m not blaming anyone for anything; all opinions are valid, and not everyone will like the same things… that’s normal. Unfortunately, at the time, I was only able to look at things from a negative mindset.” He then posted another story with all the comments from the critics who did not appreciate the film.

Imran then shared a screenshot of fan comments from his Instagram post mentioned how it was their favourite film and wrote, “And here’s where I realize my mistake; I paid so much heed to the voices that hurt… and I never valued the voices that loved. What a fool.” He acknowledged that he was only paying to the negative comments and never looked at the love he was getting. He then shared, “I won’t make that mistake again. Thank you for all helping me change my perspective.”

It has been reported that Imran might be making a come back with Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na director Abbas Tyrewala in a spy action drama series. The actor is yet to make any official announcement about the same.

A few weeks ago, his comment on Zeenat Aman’s Instagram post teasing a comeback went viral. Although the actor later said that he did not expect his post to get over a million likes and wrote, “I didn’t count on all of you picking it up and carrying it forward… After all this time, I didn’t think anyone would still care enough to reach out and tell me they believe in me. Your love humbles me.”

Imran Khan was last seen in 2015’s Katti Batti.
