Priyanka Chopra recently wrapped up the shoot for her Hollywood film The Bluff. Directed by Frank E Flowers, the movie also stars Karl Urban in the lead role. During the shooting, Priyanka shared several BTS photos giving a glimpse of her work, injuries and sets, which were far away from her family and friends. In a recent interview, Priyanka, also a mom, shared the challenges she faced while shooting the pirate drama.
In an interview with Vogue India, Priyanka talked about getting injured on the film’s sets. She said, “I’ve always enjoyed the physicality of it, but man, you definitely feel it as you get older, and the recovery isn’t quite as quick as when you’re in your twenties.”
Talking about her extreme routine, the 42-year-old actor said, “My days were really intense, but at the same time, ironically, extremely routine. I’d been filming for The Bluff since May and I was working six days a week. If we weren’t shooting nights, I would wake up most days between 4:30 and 5am. I worked 12 hours, came home, ate dinner, played with my daughter, caught up with my mom or other work, went to sleep, then woke up the next day and did it all over again.”
Priyanka Chopra was also joined by her mother and daughter Malti Marie during her Australia schedule.
The actor also confessed that the schedule for the film was quite challenging and isolating. She said, “My family, friends and team were sleeping when I was awake, and while I was asleep they were at full steam. It’s the nature of the beast, I guess.”
The Bluff will star Priyanka Chopra as a ferocious pirate-turned-homemaker. The film is yet to get a release date.
