The first look of Manoj Bajpayee’s role of a gay professor in director Hansal Mehta’s next film ‘Aligarh’ is out.

In the picture, award winning actor Manoj Bajapyee with his grey hair, beard and a brown suit, is seen clinging on to his bag.

Director Hansal Mehta, who won National Award for his last release ‘Shahid’, is also co-producing Aligarh.

‘Aligarh’ is reportedly based on the real life incident of Dr Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was terminated from his job because of his sexuality. Siras, who was the professor of Marathi at the Aligarh Muslim University, later committed suicide.

Rajkummar Rao, who was also part of Shahid, will play the role of a journalist in the film, which is likely to release later this year.
