Abhishek Bachchan‘s sweet gesture towards Rekha at HT Style Awards in Mumbai has won over the internet. During the award ceremony, Abhishek shared a warm hug with Rekha on stage. The two also spoke to each other for a while.
Abhishek’s respectful stance toward Rekha was lauded by many on social media. Reacting to this moment, one fan wrote, “Abhishek has a big heart. To hug the woman his father has been associated with for over 45 years.” Another fan pointed out how Abhishek was so respectful toward Rekha.
Other than Abhishek, AR Rahman, Akshay Kumar, and Shikhar Dhawan also greeted Rekha on stage. Another heartfelt moment involving Rekha was when she sang a song at the awards gala.
Not just this, Rekha also lauded the third-generation actors. She dedicated her Style Award to Khushi Kapoor and said, “I am so blessed and lucky that I live to see the day where all third-generation actors, technicians, fashion designers are doing so well. I want to dedicate my award to all of them, starting with my jaan Janhvi Kapoor, the joy of my life Khushi.”
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan will be next seen in the film Be Happy. The movie, directed by Remo Dsouza, will be released on Amazon Prime Video on March 7.
