Netizens have come across a scene from an old Jackie Chan animated show and are now convinced that the high-octane train sequence in Shah Rukh Khan– Deepika Padukone-starrer Pathaan could have been directly lifted from the animated show. The Jackie Chan Adventures ran from 2000 to 2005.

In Pathaan’s train scene, Salman Khan’s Tiger shows up to help Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan out of a tricky situation. They join hands to fight villains together on a moving train, which ultimately falls into a river while crossing a bridge. Tiger and Pathaan race across the roof of the falling train and leap towards the ledge.

While fans have described the train scene as one of the highlights of Pathaan, some of them are now pointing out that a scene from the Jackie Chan anime series basically follows the same structure. Watch the video here:

Earlier, the train scene in Pathaan was compared to a sequence in an Uncharted video game, and people were quick to declare that Shah Rukh Khan’s look in Pathaan is inspired by Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series. In the same scene, the main character sits on the edge of the destroyed bridge and has a self-reflective conversation, just like Tiger and Pathaan at the end of Pathaan. Several fans have also claimed that some scenes in the SRK- Deepika Padukone starrer appear to have been inspired by the likes of the Fast and Furious and Mission: Impossible franchises.

Pathaan released in January and has emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film in India. Globally, Pathaan grossed more than Rs 1000 crore.
