Enjoyed doing Missing On A Weekend a lot: Pavan Malhotra

“It’s always an attempt to be a part of different kind of stories and this is one of them. I am very happy that I am part of Missing On A Weekend, and I’m thankful to Abhishek for having faith in me. I enjoyed doing this film a lot,” he said.

Malhotra plays an investigative officer who finds himself in a high-profile case where five friends go missing and one is killed, when they are on a trip in Goa, and has just 48 hours to solve the case.

Malhotra liked the uniqueness of the characters and the actors playing them.

“If all of them become the same, all building six-packs and flaunting their muscles, having the same attitude, then what are we narrating the story about. And their uniqueness was the strength of the film,” he said.

Missing On A Weekend stars veteran singer Hariharan’s son Karan among others and is presented by The Red Bulb Studios and Adept Films and will hit the screens on June 24.
