Director-turned-actor Divya Khossla and actor Neil Nitin Mukesh will be seen sharing screen space in Ek Chatur Naar, directed and co-produced by Umesh Shukla. The film’s trailer was released on Monday, offering a mix of chaos and humor.

In the trailer, Divya Khossla plays a middle-class woman struggling to make ends meet. She takes up odd jobs until one day she stumbles upon a phone belonging to a businessman, played by Neil Nitin Mukesh. What follows is a blackmail plot that sets off a hilarious cat-and-mouse chase.

Despite aiming for a madcap tone, the trailer fails to impress, as the fast-paced drama ends up diluting the comedy. Commenting on the trailer, a fan wrote, “If the screenplay balances wit with substance, this could be more than just a catchy title.” Another viewer pointed out that the film will clash with Dulquer Salmaan’s Kaantha. A third fan said, “Trailer feels like a rollercoaster.”

Ek Chatur Naar is produced by T Series and Merry Go Round Studios. The film, also starring Chhaya Kadam, Sushant Singh, Rajniesh Duggal, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, Heli Daruwala, Rose Sardana, and Geeta Agarwal Sharma, will have a theatrical release on September 12.
