Bollywood actor Chunky Pandaywho is known to Generation Alpha as the father of Ananya Panday, has opened up about his youth and how his wife Bhavana changed his life for good.

When asked about his life as a casanova, Chunky said, “I had a good time like every young guy or girl having a great time in his/her life.”

However, Chunky Panday admitted that he became grounded after meeting the love of his life, Bhavana. “Obviously, I got married (laughs). Bhavana was a good lion tamer and a good circus master. I was a casanova for too long. I got married at 35. I think everybody should go through their life and make their own mistakes. Bhavana was one girl When I met her, within one week, I knew I was going to marry this girl. I don’t know why. I have never felt like that with anyone. Maybe, it’s also about the time.”

Chunky also claimed that the age difference between him and his wife is what makes him stay young and vibrant. “Maybe, that’s why I look younger…keeping up with Bhavana. I see heroes working with heroines 10 to 12 years younger than them, and I did that in real life. So, I always look young.”

The conversation veered towards Chunky Panday’s family, which now has more actors. Talking about his family, he said, “It started with… I was Dr. (Sharad) Panday’s son. Later, I became Ananya Panday’s father. Now, I am Bhavana Pandey’s husband. Soon I will be Ahaan Panday’s uncle. I am already Alanna Panday’s uncle. And, of course, there’s Rysa Panday left. I am lucky that I am surrounded by a lot of talent in my life.”

Chunky Panday claimed that it is not easy taking up a parent’s profession, and added that Ananya Panday would have become an actor irrespective of what he did. “Even if I had not become an actor, I think Ananya would have still become an actor. I see childhood videos of Ananya, and she always wanted to become an actor. I hardly took her to film sets. But she always wanted to act. Rysa is different. She never wanted to be in front of the camera. So, I think it is the hunger to become an actor that makes you one. Then it is a lot of permutation and combination and luck.”
