Choreographer Rajeev Sruti has opened up about working with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Rajeev said that Shah Rukh and Amitabh Bachchan are celebrities who push newcomers in the industry to do better. He also recalled a time when SRK called him and motivated him by pointing out the details of his choreography. Rajeev made his debut with the song “Mourya Re” from the 2006 film Don.

In an interview with Join Films, Rajeev said, “It was the month of March and it suddenly rained. We had shot one or two sequences and Shah Rukh called me. He really liked the set up and everything and he is a kind of person who pushes people. Be it Amitabh Bachchan or Shah Rukh Khan, when they know that a new person has entered the industry, they always push them (to do better).”

He added, “He (SRK) really helped me. He called me and I did not know who’s number it was. He said, ‘I am Shah Rukh speaking.’ He said ‘You are doing good, everything was good.’ He told me the details. He just did not praise me, but he appreciated me while pointing out the details. He has a very good trait. He gives a lot of importance to the person in front of him. He motivates a lot and pushes to do better.”

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the blockbuster movie Pathaan. The actor will next be seen in the much-anticipated film Jawan. The makers recently dropped an intriguing prevue of the film which is all set to release on September 7. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone among others.
