Chhava teaser: Vicky Kaushal looks fierce as he roars and fights hundreds of enemies. Watch

Before the premiere of Stree 2, viewers were treated with a sweet surprise. The makers of Chhava unveiled the film's teaser, sharing a glimpse of Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

Viewers of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Stree 2 were treated with an extra-ordinary surprise by the film’s producer Dinesh Vijan just before the horror-comedy drama premiered on the big screen. The producer introduced the audience to Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj from his upcoming period drama Chhava. The much-awaited teaser was screened across cinema halls on Thursday. It is attached with the film Stree 2.

Soon after the teaser was screened on screen, several recordings of the same made their way to the internet. In the now-viral clips, Vicky Kaushal can be seen in a fierce avatar on a battle field, roaring and fighting the enemies, showing a never-before-seen side of him to his viewers. In the teaser, Vicky can be seen flaunting a beefed-up physique with a beard.

Elevated fan reactions flooded the internet. A user wrote, “I love Vicky Kaushal man”. Another user on X wrote, “Wow… Superb!” Another set of people compared the film to Akshay Kumar-starrer Kesari and said, “Kesari vibes”.

Chhava, directed by Laxman Utekar, is a period-drama. The film is produced by Stree 2 producer Dinesh Vijan under his production banner Maddock Films. Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has composed music for the Vicky Kaushal-starrer historical drama. Apart from the Uri star, the film will also feature Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Suniel Shetty. Chhava is all set to release in theatres on 6 December.

Chhava will witness a clash with Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2: The Rule, which too stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. Previously, Anil Kapoor was approached for Aurangzeb’s role, however, the role then went to Akshaye Khanna. The actor was last seen in the film Drishyam 2.
