Chhaava box office collection day 40: Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s Chhaava has enjoyed a spectacular six-week run, even claiming the title of the highest-grossing film of 2025. However, its dominance at the box office now seems to be waning. With Sikandar and Empuraan releasing this week, Chhaava’s numbers have started to decline. On its sixth Tuesday, the film collected Rs 1.50 crore. This follows a significant 65.59% drop on Monday, with the downward trend continuing into Tuesday. As it enters the final stretch of its theatrical run, Chhaava’s net box office collection in India stands at Rs 586.35 crore. Globally, Chhaava has amassed Rs 787.5 crore, breaking several records and surpassing many Hindi blockbusters, including Rashmika Mandanna’s Animal. However, with her next release, Sikandar, on the horizon, it remains to be seen whether the actress’ new film will give Chhaava tough competition. On Tuesday, the Vicky Kaushal starrer also witnessed the lowest occupancy so far of 7.97 percent with 2533 shows. Chennai recorded the highest occupancy of 17 percent with 8 shows running. Both Mumbai and Hyderabad had similar occupancies of 9.50 percent. However, Mumbai had 489 shows for the film, while Hyderabad just had 59 shows. The film’s occupancy in Delhi NCR was 7.75 percent with 613 shows. The film has had the lowest occupancy in Surat of 4.25 percent with 152 shows. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Chhaava features Ashutosh Rana, Akshaye Khanna, Divya Dutta, and Vineet Kumar Singh in pivotal roles. While the film’s Hindi version premiered on February 14, its Telugu release followed on March 7.
