Budhia Singh – Born To Run trailer looks promising

Manoj looks convincing as Budhia’s coach Das in the trailer which shows the young boy answering ‘haga aur bhaga’ (shat and ran) when asked by his teacher how he starts his day.

The trailer of ‘Budhia Singh – Born To Run’ is out and it looks promising. Based on the world’s youngest marathon runner of the same name who made headlines in 2006, the film directed by Soumendra Padhi, features Manoj Bajpayee and Mayur Patole in the lead role.

The film has already won the National Film Award for Best Children’s Film in 2016 and is set to release in August.

Mayur plays the role of Budhia Singh who ran 48 marathons − one of which was the record of running 65 kms from Bhubhaneshwar to Puri in flat 7 hours and 2 minutes.
