Article 370 box office collection day 4: The worldwide gross total of the Yami Gautam-starrer stands at 34.71 crore.

Yami Gautam and Priyamani-starrer Article 370 delivered strong numbers in its opening weekend, but its true test will begin in the weekdays. According to industry tracking website Sacnilk, director Aditya Suhas Jambhale’s film earned Rs 3.25 crore on its first Monday, marking a hefty 60% drop from Sunday’s figures and taking its total nett box office collection to Rs 26.15 crore in four days.
According to the producers – Aditya Dhar Films – the film’s worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 34.71 crore. Taking to social media, the banner put out a statement that referenced the backlash they faced prior to the film’s release, and thanking the audience for turning out in large numbers. A political-thriller set against the backdrop of the Kashmir conflict, the film tackles the abrogation of Article 370.

On Monday, the film witnessed an occupancy of 13.10 percent in theatres. Article 370 has been released only in the Hindi language. In Mumbai, where there are 695 shows running, with the occupancy for Monday being reported at 13 percent. In Delhi and NCR, there are 784 shows running at 11.75 percent occupancy. In Chennai, where there are only 33 shows running, the occupancy was 28.75 percent.
Article 370 is enjoying a free run in cinemas, as there is no other major competition standing in its way. Even after clashing with Vidyut Jammwal, Nora Fatehi and Arjun Rampal’s Crakk on opening day, the film took a lead over the weekend. Crakk’s four-day box office total stands at Rs 9.7 crore.
Article 370 producer Aditya Dhar directed Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike in 2019. The film had earned Rs 359.73 crore (USD 51.08 million) worldwide and was declared a blockbuster.
