Blind also stars Vinay Pathak, Lillete Dubey, and Shubham Saraf in pivotal roles.
The synopsis of Blind reads: “A captivating tale that unfolds a woman’s grit to defy all odds, Blind is a story of a visually impaired resilient woman (played by Sonam) who becomes a key witness to a crime. In her efforts to trace the unusual turn of events and give testimony about the incident, she is forced to confront the killer on her own. Purab Kohli as the menacing antagonist delivers a powerful performance in this riveting tale of secrets and suspense, with an intriguing cast that adds exciting layers to the story.”
Sonam Kapoor wrapped up Blind in 2021 and embraced motherhood in 2022. The actor, who was on her maternity break, is raring to get back to work. She recently spoke to indianexpress.com about resuming work. When we asked her whether filmmakers still reach out to her given she is spending time away from Mumbai, Sonam replied, “It hasn’t affected work at all. It’s also because I decided to not work while I was pregnant. And I think it was the best decision as I got to take some time off. Now, I am getting back and I will be shooting for my films, and a few other things. Blind is releasing next month, which was shot just before I got pregnant. So there’s a lot to look forward to.”
