Badshah has rubbished rumours of getting injured after falling off from stage mid performance after a viral video claiming to be that of the singer-rapper surfaced on social media. A video posted by a Twitter user featured a performer, seemingly looking like Badshah, performing for a crowd, losing his balance and falling off the stage.

The short clip ends with his team rushing to help him. The four second video featured a track of Badshah–Garmi from Street Dancer 3D– playing in the background.

The singer took to Twitter and debunked the claim, sharing the post with his clarification. “Thats not me, but whoever that is i hope he is safe 🙏,” he wrote.

Badshah also took to Instagram stories and refuted the incident. He posted a video from his car and said he didn’t fall from stage but hoped that the person who did, was safe.

Bhai main bilkul theek hu (Guys, I am absolutely alright). I didn’t fall from any stage. I am safe, I’m sound, my hands and legs are alright too. In fact, the person who did fall from the stage, I hope he is ok. I’m fine, absolutely alright,” the rapper ended his message.

Badshah broke into the Bollywood scene with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’s chartbuster Saturday Saturday in 2014 and quickly emerged as one of the biggest names in the industry, with him featuring in almost every big Hindi film soundtrack.

While he has been releasing his independent singles, the singer-rapper recently also composed the track “Issa Vibe” from Bloody Daddy, which was headlined by Shahid Kapoor.
