After a feud of over nine years, Salman Khan seems to have finally patched up with singer Arijit Singh. On Wednesday night, the singer was spotted leaving Salman's house in Mumbai. As a social media user shared the video, fans started speculating that the two have buried the hatchet and would soon work again. Some of the comments on the post read, "Ye to gajab ho gaya," "Saal ka sab se bada blockbuster scene toh ye nikla😱🥵🔥," and "Wow, pata nahi kaise dosti ho gayi." A few also wondered if they met to collaborate on Salman Khan's upcoming movie Tiger 3 or his next film with Karan Johar. Arijit Singh stepped on the stage to receive the award, dressed rather casually and in a chappal, looking tired. The Bollywood bhaijaan, who was hosting the show, mockingly asked, "So gaye the (Were you sleeping)?” To this, the singer shot back, “Aap logon ne sula diya (You all put me to sleep)". Salman replied that it's not their fault for if songs like "Tum hi ho" keeps playing, people would fall asleep. Following the incident, Arijit’s songs were reportedly removed from Salman Khan’s films including Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kick and Sultan. In 2016, Arijit even issued a public apology to the star, requesting him to retain his version of the song in Sultan. He also mentioned how he'd tried to apologise multiple times to him but to no avail. “Dear Mr Salman Khan, This is the last way I thought I would speak to you. I have been trying to text you call you and do everything possible to tell you that you are mistaken about the fact that I insulted you. I never did. That night in the show, It was the wrong time and wrong aura. Nevertheless, you felt insulted. And I understood and I felt extremely sorry about it as me and my family have been your fan for long. I tried to explain so many times but you never got it. I apologized but you never got it. How many times I sent you apology texts you also know. At Nita Ji's place, I only came back to apologize to you but you didn't get it,” the contents of the letter read," he had posted on Facebook, only to take it down later. Only time will tell if Arijit Singh will finally get a Salman Khan song in his library.
