Actor Anushka Sharma joined millions of Indians in Ahmedabad on Saturday to support the Indian cricket team and her husband, Virat Kohli as they played against Pakistan in the ongoing ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023.

Several viral videos that surfaced on the internet showed Anushka and Virat interacting with each other before the match. They were photographed hand in hand while entering their hotel. One of the videos also had musician Arijit Singh, who performed before the match, requesting Anushka for a photo. He told her, “I’ll click one picture.” The actor obliged and flashed a radiant smile.

After the match, Kohli presumably talked to his wife Anushka through gestures from the cricket ground. A video of the same surfaced on social media. While Anushka might have understood his message, people on the internet tried to decode what the cricketer was trying to convey. One of the users wrote, “Sweet couple. But what is he saying?”

In a different video, Virat and Anushka exchanged greetings with Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika. The couple then left hand in hand.

The India Vs Pakistan match was held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Singers Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan and Sukwinder Singh also performed at the opening ceremony.
