Anupam Kher’s heartfelt birthday wish for Satish Kaushik’s daughter Vanshika: ‘You’re more than a daughter to me’

Veteran actor Anupam Kher took to his Instagram account to dedicate a special birthday post to Vanshika Kaushik, daughter of his best friend and late actor Satish Kaushik. Anupam shared a series of adorable pictures featuring himself, Vanshika, Satish and Shashi Kaushik.

Sharing the pictures, the actor wrote how Vanshika is more than a daughter to him. “Happy birthday my dearest darling #Vanshika! May God give you all the happiness in the world, long life, peace and great success. May all your dreams come true. I know you will miss #Papa today. But he is wishing you and also singing #HappyBirthdayVanshika song for you! Everybody loves you. You are more than a daughter to me. You are amazing, gorgeous, brilliant, bright, funny and unique. All my love, prayers and blessings on your special day and for the rest of your life!” Anupam captioned the post.

Chunky Panday, Mahima Chaudhary and Shilpa Shirodkar among others took to the comment section and wished Vanshika. Birthday girl Vanshika also posted an adorable reel on Instagram and wrote, “It’s my birthday.”

Satish, who was a director, producer, comedian and actor, passed away in Gurugram at the age of 66. The last rites of the actor were performed at the Versova crematorium in Mumbai.

Anupam first broke the news to the media and confirmed the death of his dear friend. Anupam, in his tribute to Satish, wrote, “I know “death is the ultimate truth of this world!” But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!”
