Animal: Bobby Deol’s first look from Ranbir Kapoor-starrer is as gory and bloody as it can get

Days after creating a buzz on the internet with the first look posters of Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, the makers of the action thriller Animal have once again surprised their fans, this time by revealing a violent new poster that showcases Bobby Deol. The striking image has been released two days ahead of the unveiling of the film’s official teaser.

With the tagline “Animal ka Enemy”, the poster presents Bobby in a blue suit and his face smeared with blood. However, his expressions exude both strength and fearlessness. Gazing intensely into someone’s eyes, Bobby is also seen gesturing for them to remain silent by placing his forefinger over his lips.

Praising Bobby’s new avatar, his brother and Gadar 2 star Sunny Deol commented: “Yes Bob Go For it 🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨❤️❤️❤️❤️.” Meanwhile, his step-sister Esha Deol also showered love on Bobby and dropped “💪🏼♥️” emojis under the picture. His cousin Abhay Deol, conversely, dropped three heart emojis in the comment section.

Sharing the picture on social media, Anil Kapoor noted: “Jaanwar ke har dushman ke andar bhi, Ek Jaanwar chipa hota hai… Yeh Yaad Rakhna Beta!!! (Inside every enemy of the animal, there is a hidden animal…Never forget this son!!!)”

Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and jointly bankrolled by T-Series and Cine1 Studios, Animal will hit screens on December 1. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, the film also stars Tripti Dimri and Shakti Kapoor in key roles.

Its official teaser is scheduled to be unveiled on September 28. In addition to Hindi, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam as well.

The pre-teaser for the film, released in June, offered glimpses of the world of Animal, emphasising that it will be an adrenaline-pumping action thriller.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known for directing the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy, which starred Vijay Deverakonda, and its Hindi remake, Kabir Singh, featuring Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. Both versions garnered immense success at the box office, although they faced criticism for their celebration of toxic masculinity.
