Although she initially faced considerable criticism for her underwhelming performances, actor Ananya Panday has, more recently, managed to shift public perception, delivering notable portrayals one after the other. Unlike her early movies such as Student of the Year 2 (2019), which marked her acting debut, Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019) and Liger (2022), Ananya’s more recent performances in projects like Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023), CTRL (2024), Call Me Bae (2024) and Kesari 2 (2025) received positive responses.
Now, in a major achievement, she has been named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list, becoming one of the only four Indians featured in the entertainment category this year. She also recently made history as French luxury fashion house Chanel’s first Indian brand ambassador. The daughter of actor Chunky Panday and wife Bhavana Pandey, Ananya currently boasts 25.9 million followers on Instagram.
Joining her on the Forbes list is actor Ishaan Khatter, known for his roles in acclaimed projects such as legendary Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds (2017), Dhadak (2018), Phone Bhoot (2022), and Pippa (2023), as well as television series like A Suitable Boy (2020), The Perfect Couple (2024), and The Royals (2025). Ishaan and Ananya previously co-starred in Khaali Peeli (2020). Also featured on the list are filmmaker Sulagna Chatterjee — recognised for her work on Netflix’s Feels Like Ishq and Jio Studios’ Code M — and singer-songwriter Anuv Jain.
