Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is an avid blogger and regularly takes to his virtual diary to share updates with fans regarding his health, work and his weekly Sunday meeting with fans. In his latest blog entry, Amitabh shared how he rushed back from work to be present at the gates of his Mumbai residence Jalsa for a quick rendezvous with fans.

The actor mentioned he also wanted to be presentable for his audience as he changed from work and walked quickly to the gates to wave at a sea of fans: “Rush rush rush .. !! Rush through the work and the day to be presentable at the GOJ .. and made it in enough time to be at the box .. and to greet and send the love for the well wishers of the Sunday.”

In the same entry, Amitabh expressed his doubts about whether the fans will show up for another Sunday, a sentiment he had blogged about previously as well.

“Will they .. wont they .. ? The eternal question mark before the GOJ ..That Chaplin question .. the presence at the Academy Awards for a Lifetime Achievement presentation for him , after returning to USA, from a sort of exile , being labelled a Communist , which was a misnomer .. and the ask as he stands back stage to be brought on and decorated ..‘will they clap for me ..’ ? he asked in apprehension ..(sic),” Amitabh wrote on a philosophical note as he concluded his daily ritual for the day.

In an earlier post, he had written that lesser number of people turn up for what has come to be known as ‘Sunday darshan’. “I do observe though that the numbers are in lesser magnitude and the enthusiasm has lessened and the screams of joy now transferred to the mobile camera .. and that is more evident now an indication that time has moved on and nothing lasts forever,” he wrote.

On the work front, Amitabh has a packed schedule, with multiple projects in the pipeline, including the courtroom drama Section 84, Project K with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, and the untitled Hindi remake of The Intern, also with Padukone.
